Regular users only ever see redacted media and never see the licence plate field. Plates and faces are personal information in Canada, so they stay out of every public surface.
Faces and plates are blurred automatically. If confidence is low or a job fails, the report is withheld from the public and queued for human review before anyone sees it.
Viatic includes an authority role designed for municipal partners: officers of a participating city can review original media and the plate for approved reports in their jurisdiction and record the outcome in the app. No partnerships are in place yet; this is how the platform is built to work.
